Traditionally lift shafts are constructed at site from blockwork, poured concrete or steel. Relatively minor errors in the early stages of build can translate to significant deviations at the higher levels. On occasions the problems only become apparent during mechanical installation and can lead to delays in building completion. Modular lift shafts supplied by Waycon Precast are manufactured in moulds to very close dimensional tolerances. Providing the foundations are properly level, and the simple installation instructions are followed, problems described above should not occur.
